Location, good facility, good value, lots of food choices

Elevator security swipe very awkward when crowded. Non transferable pool use for our 2 nephews even for one hour. 2 children left to Watch even after others done. Hard to reach our agent. Will be better when 7/11 opens. Po

Great room but poor manager

Everything .the deep bath .the room ,plus netflix

The room manager was difficult to deal with we arrived 2 hrs b4 check in she told us at first she meet us soon and was on her way we called another 3 times then she said check inn is at 2pm. Fair enough but say from first call .so we returned at 2 pm she showed up at 3 pm .does not return calls or messages very poor. But room was great.

Good

The location is excellent, and the view mesmerizing. Since it’s located on the 52nd floor, you have the best view in the city. It also seems to be the most tallest building around. There are plenty of restaurants and malls close to Horizons 101, and every taxi knows the building. The apartment is functional. Besides the queen size bed, there are two additional sleeping couches, and the Netflix is a big plus, if you travel with kids... or for your own entertainment. Table with 4 chairs, a nice refrigerator and a microwave are also very handy.

Since it’s located on such a high floor, waiting for the elevator can be tricky, if you’re in a hurry. It takes sometimes 5 min to get down. The bathroom has indeed a shower and a bathtub, but there is no pressure if you’re thinking of taking a bath. It would take forever to fill that bathtub. Shower on the other hand works alright. Some toiletries would be a nice touch.

Great staycation.....

The condo was spacious with the necessary things needed. Overlooking, very nice view specially at night., wide windows, furnitures are good, wifi excellent with netflix. I feel like i am with them all the time via video calling. Overall, my family had a great stay. My kids love the barh tub specially. The staff and the care taker were accommodating. Would like to come back and recommend the place. Thank you.

There were some cockroaches found and no broom so the tenants could clean at least.

Horrendous experience — Not Fantastic

Dunno. Maybe the security doing theyre job well.

Booking Jan 6-9, 2020. So heres what happened—— Ive messaged the owner the day before our check in if everything is ok but no response. We arrived in the Horizons (building) and asked the receptionist that we have a booking and theyre unaware. They gave me a number to ring and it was different from the number posted in the ad. I spoke with the caretaker and she sounds lost and surprised that we have arrived. We were already tired from our trip and just want to rest but of course we have to wait for her to usher us up. While waiting for her we wanted to sit in the coffee shop in front of the building as there are no seats available in the reception area. For sure Horizons bldg is one of the tallest in Cebu but they are also the smallest, narrowest lobby I have seen. We asked if we could leave our luggage in the reception but they refused so we have to drag our stuff outside with us. The caretaker arrived and it appears that she needs training on how to welcome guests. No talk or orientation whatsoever. Here is the the greatest part of our experience. When she opened the unit, I was confused where we at as is doesnt look like the place that I booked. The place was so small that my family of five just barely fit in! I checked the bathroom and the bath tub wasnt there. I have asked the caretaker where is it and that was the only time she told us that we were moved to a different unit as the “fantastic” oceanview is not too fantastic as the aircon is broken and is infested with bugs! Communication was so poor that we werent informed beforehand! I was asking for explanation from the caretaker why we werent informed and she cant say any legit answers. I have demanded her to asked the owner to give us some refund as the unit that we are now staying was probably just half the size the unit that I originally booked. In the ad it says the “fantastic unit” is about 45sqm with bath tub. Now we have to stay in a unit that in my estimation around 25sqm.

Dissapointed

Cheap Good location

- We have found lots of "bugs" around the kitchen, to put it modestly.. - Strong smell of insecticide came from kitchen storage cabinet under the sink. - Dishes and kitchen wares were not clean. - Airconditioner in the bed room did not work. - We have waited for the building maintenance coming to fix the above issues by letting the owner know our daily schedule so that building maintenance was able to visit us, however nobody had come during our stay. In the end, we were told at our check out that their office had been closed due to the New Year's holiday. - Shower in the bathtub room did not provide hot water, thus we were not able to take a warm bath. - There is a misrepresentation on its booking.com website that fitness center is inside the residence until as of today, however I was told that it was not inside the building. Availability of fitness center/gym is one of my key factors to choose the place to stay, so it makes me quite dissapointed. - No apologies from the owner until today.

It was very comfortable for our family of five. We also appreciated that they let us check in early (for extra 500pp but as we flew from USA and arrived in the middle of the night, we were happy to pay). Will likely stay again on our way through the city and on to our next destination.

Wi-fi and Netflix was good, bed was comfy, view of the city was enjoyable

1. No hot water in the bathtub, only warm water in the shower and floor of the shower dirty 2. No dish soap like seen in the pictures, which means very dirty dishes 3. Owner was not welcoming at all 4. BUGS everywhere in the kitchen and in the bathroom. We were struggling with them for our entire stay (4 nights). DISCUSTING.
